Hi there! My name is Marisa and I’m a New York based Product Designer with over a decade of professional experience. I began my career at New York Magazine, shaping editorial brands and designing complex publishing tools. Most recently I’ve been working at Vox Media on a small team focused on innovative advertising software.
I’m passionate about creating meaningful digital experiences that focus on the user. My long-standing interest in psychology has proven beneficial in understanding behavior, and I believe an emphasis on research and analytics is essential to good design. With a strong foundation in visual design, I bring a unique blend of craft and systems thinking. And I definitely still get giddy when I see something I designed out in the wild.
Outside of work I’m most likely trying to keep up with my adventurous toddler, testing out a new seasonal recipe, or enjoying a glass of wine and my latest read.
